WINSTON-SALEM – Kilpatrick Stockton announced today that Cal Cunningham, an attorney in the firm’s Winston-Salem office, reported for active duty at Fort Bragg on January 3. Mr. Cunningham — a First Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserves, Judge Advocate General’s Corps — will be joining Operation Enduring Freedom with the XVIII Airborne Corps. He will serve as a military criminal prosecutor.

Mr. Cunningham is an associate and member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. His practice focuses on a variety of areas, including commercial and securities litigation and products liability. Mr. Cunningham is a former member of the North Carolina Senate where he served as the Vice Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Mr. Cunningham graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, J.D., (1999) and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, B.A. Political Science and Philosophy, with honors in Political Science, (1996). He also holds a Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science in Public Administration and Public Policy (1997) and completed the Carolina Business Institute (1996).
