17 March 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Allen & Overy advised Bilfinger Berger AG on the acquisition of Babcock Borsig service group from Deutsche Beteiligungs AG. This acquisition expands
Bilfinger Berger’s portfolio of industrial services for power plants and
gives them an excellent position in this growth market. Both parties have
agreed not to disclose any price details. The acquisition is subject to the
approval of the antitrust authorities.
The Allen & Overy team was led by Frankfurt-based partners Dr. Reinhard
Hermes and Dr. Hans-Christoph Ihrig, assisted by Hamburg-based senior
associate Dr. Thomas Lappe.
