8 June 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Gide Loyrette Nouel advises GL Events in Hungary in connection with the privatisation of the Budapest Exhibition Centre:
Gide Loyrette Nouel has just finished advising GL Events, a company based in Lyon, specialised in event organisation and logistics, in connection with the privatisation of the Hungarian company, Hungexpo, owner of the Budapest Exhibition Centre, which has a provisional turnover for 2005 estimated at 22 million euros.
Under the terms of the agreement signed with APV Rt, the Hungarian privatisation agency, the consortium, which is 90 % controlled by GEL Events and 10 % controlled by Triganit, a local business partner specialised in real estate, is to acquire a 77 % stake in Hungexpo, the owner of the Budapest Exhibition Centre.
GL Events was assisted by Jacques de Servigny, Judit Gaál and Lazlo Agai of Gide Loyrette Nouel.
