DALLAS (LAWFUEL) – The Dallas-based technology law firm of Munck Carter, P.C., is expanding its labor and employment section with the addition of attorney Michael A. McCabe, who joins the firm as a shareholder.
Mr. McCabe defends businesses in complex business and employment litigation matters. He is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Mr. McCabe has successfully defended a number of large companies in Fair Labor Standards Act collective action lawsuits as well as U.S. Department of Labor investigations alleging failure to pay overtime wages. He also handles claims alleging breach of non-compete agreements, confidentiality agreements, non-solicitation agreements and fiduciary duty. His practice includes the representation of employers in discrimination, wrongful termination, tort, contract, defamation and class-action lawsuits. Mr. McCabe also negotiates executive employment agreements and covenants not to compete for employers.

Mr. McCabe is a cum laude graduate of the Texas Tech University School of Law, where he served as case note/comment editor of the Texas Tech Law Review. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University.
