Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP is one of Canada’s best employers, according to the national magazine, Maclean’s. In its October 20th issue, Maclean’s lists Canada’s Top 100 Employers as determined by Mediacorp Canada Inc., a publisher that specializes in employment-related issues. The list includes not-for-profit groups, government agencies and private sector companies. Blakes is the only law firm on the list.
According to Maclean’s, “the organizations selected are the best in their classes – and they get there because they want not just to woo but to keep the best employees.” The list is developed by Mediacorp through a review of the 51,000 employers that are regularly tracked for its magazine, Canada Employment Weekly. Based on that review, Mediacorp invites 6,000 companies to participate in an extensive application process and organizations are then compared to their peers.
