Ben Shapiro is your pretty normal, 30 year old Harvard grad, except that he has founded a major website, edits another, has written five books that hit the New York Times best seller list and has a show named (oddly enough) the Ben Shapiro Show and wants to sue Barack Obama. Otherwise, perfectly normal in all respect, when he has the time to be normal that is.
Shapiro has become a regular pundit on shows like CNN and Fox News and his most recent book is causing something of a stir.
It’s called The People vs. Barack Obama: The Criminal Case Against the Obama Administration.AbovetheLaw spoke with Shapiro about his book, his claims, his case against Obama, which includes some interesting excerpts, like:
Virtually every department of the Obama administration has been plagued with scandal. And when we’re talking scandal, we’re not just talking something in which somebody makes a bad political decision, we’re talking about actual criminal law-breaking by members of the Executive Branch.
And the problem is that there is no way to hold these folks accountable at the high level because the fact is the Executive Branch is charged with executing the law.
So, if the cops become the robbers, who exactly is going to prosecute the cops? The fact is the person who is probably first on the list for engaging in criminal enterprise would be Eric Holder, who is charged with criminally prosecuting people inside the Executive Branch, and that’s obviously not going to happen.
