LawFuel says –
Chapman Tripp is unquestionably one of the powerhouse firms, but also one that demands peak performance from its lawyers. Long hours and often demanding schedules are common place in a firm that is frequently head to head with its nearest rivals. Well managed and innovative, it provides a demanding but rewarding workplace.
Chapman Tripp says –
Chapman Tripp is New Zealand’s most progressive and dynamic law firm. Our culture is unique – we pride ourselves on the diversity and individualism of our people.
Our five values aren’t just simply words on a page, they drive the firm’s culture. Integrity, people, collaborative, astute and dynamic mean something to all of us.
Summer Clerkships –
The firm offers both a summer and winter clerkship programme.
Our 13-week summer clerk programme is a great way for students to immerse themselves in life at Chapman Tripp, build working relationships, receive great training and most of all, get involved in real work.
We keep our intake to around 25-30 summer clerks across our three offices, and we don’t take on more summer clerks than we have law clerk positions to offer. That means our summer clerks don’t compete and they have the opportunity to get stuck into meaningful work.
Our summer clerks rotate through two teams. We will offer you lots of opportunities to find out about all of the teams at Chapman Tripp throughout the recruitment process, so that you can make informed choices when we ask you for your team preferences.
