TALLAHASSEE – LAWFUEL – Legal News, Legal Jobs Network – Attorney General-elect Bill McCollum today named the members of the team that will assist him in his transition into the office of the Attorney General. The transition members will review the current operations of the Attorney General’s office including its budget, structure and personnel in order to advise Attorney General-elect McCollum as he transitions into office.
“I want to express my appreciation to the people who will be assisting me in this transition process,” said Attorney General-elect McCollum. “I look forward to working with the talented members of this team.”
Attorney General-elect McCollum has selected Terry Griffin to serve as the chair of the transition. Bobby Brantley, Joe Negron and Bob Allen will serve as Vice Chairmen, while Bill Stewart will act as McCollum’s staff director. In addition to the leaders of the team, McCollum also named the following individuals who will serve under the team’s leadership in the transition process: Jorge Arrizurieta, Thomas Ball, Vince Champion, Al Condon, Charlotte Danciu, Leo de la Pena, Donald Eslinger, Tom Grady, Chris Hart, Robert Heekin, Jr., Mery Lopez, James Mann, Simone Marstiller, Joseph Mason, Nolan McLeod, Carlos Muniz, Thomas Nash, Thomas Spencer, Glenda Thornton, Jake Varn, Karen Unger, Levi Williams and Norm Wolfinger.
Attorney General-elect McCollum has also set up a website designed to keep the public informed about the current transition and to provide Floridians with the opportunity to submit ideas and suggestions to the transition team.
