‘CNN has firmly denied that Lemon was involved in the alleged incident and said that Hice has a history of antagonizing the cable news network.

I have several problems with CNN’s firm denial…
1. Was CNN there? Did they witness anything? No! So according to logic, how can they “firmly deny” that anything happened?
2. The assumption that someone who “previously displayed a pattern of contempt for CNN on his social media” could not be assaulted by Don Lemon is also logically bankrupt! For example, I may display my contempt for Trump on Facebook, but that doesn’t mean that someone who in some capacity works for Trump couldn’t come up to me and assault me! How many people do not have a strong dislike for CNN these days…? You certainly don’t have to be a Trump supporter to strongly dislike CNN… The network has evolved into becoming a big joke where almost its only focus is to keep issuing ‘BREAKING NEWS’ bulletins in which one tries to defame Donald Trump… It’s no secret that I dislike Trump and what he stands for, but a news network cannot be taken seriously who behaves in this manner… First of all, news should be impartial, or else what they offer is not news but rather propaganda… and that’s precisely what CNN has become… a propaganda channel! So CNN’s statement in defense of Lemon is basically just nonsense!
