Frankfurt – LAWFUEL – Law Firm Announcements Daily – DLA Piper is pleased to announce the appointment of M&A partner Dr Christoph Papenheim to its German Corporate and M&A practice. Christoph joins DLA Piper in mid January 2008 from the Frankfurt office of White & Case, together with associate Sven Friedrich.
Christoph has 12 year’s M&A experience and his practice also includes corporate and trade law. Prior to joining DLA Piper Christoph was a partner at White and Case, focussing mainly on cross-border M&A and private equity transactions, as well as M&A arbitration proceedings. Christoph advises multinational corporations, particularly those in the automotive, construction, and water sectors. In addition, he has significant experience advising Indian companies. Christoph is qualified in both Germany and New York.
Dr Ulrich Jüngst, Regional Managing Partner of DLA Piper in Germany, said: “We are delighted to have attracted a partner of Christoph Papenheim’s calibre. He will make a major contribution to the expansion of the Frankfurt office.”
