LawFuel.com – UK Law Newswire – International law firm Eversheds has announced a number of significant changes to its management structure, following the uncontested election of Bryan Hughes as its new Chief Executive. Hughes will start his new role in May taking over from David Gray who steps down after two terms in charge.
The key changes include Lee Ranson, currently head of the real estate practice group, who will become Managing Partner. Ranson’s primary focus will be on growth and operational performance. Julie Stobart will take on the role as practice group head for real estate.
Martin Warren, currently head of the HR practice group, will take on the newly created role of Head of Client Strategy, with particular emphasis on key accounts. His appointment underlines Eversheds’ commitment to place clients, rather than legal disciplines or geographies, at its core.
Stephen Hopkins will take on an expanded role of Head of International. He will be responsible not only for continuing the significant progress achieved in delivering a seamless client experience across Eversheds’ substantial international network but also for driving forward the integration of its associate offices.
David Gray has agreed to take the role of Chairman of Eversheds International, working alongside Hopkins. Eversheds currently operates in 25 jurisdictions.
