Is the law jobs sector rebounding? Or are we seeing things?
It appears that law jobs certainly rebounded a little in February in the US according to figures released by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, but that comes after reports that law jobs fell by 2,400 in January.
However the January job losses were revised to show that job losses were up to 3,500 for January. Nevertheless taking the longer and more accurate view of the state of the law jobs market, the overall figure showed that the law business now employs around 5000 more peole than it did at this time in 2012, coming in at a figure of 1.125 million and 50,000 fewer than at the peak before the global financial crisis.
