LAWFUEL – Lawyer and Republican U.S. presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani sprung to the defense of his wife following a Vanity Fair article referring to her as a “princess bride” who the magazine portrayed as adopting the spoilt girl attributes of someone like Conrad Black’s wife.
Questions about the critical magazine piece emerged at a press conference concerned with his healthcare pronouncements. Giuliani responded by saying what a wonderful person his wife was.
“One of the terrible prices that unfortunately families pay in a situation like this is they get castigated and attacked,” he said. “And, usually, most reporters don’t even ask about it. They actually have more dignity than to even ask about it.”
