LawFuel – The Law Newswire – Paris Hilton’s lawyer has appealed his client’s 45 day jail sentence.
TMZ.com reported the appeal. The notice is a formality that lawyers are required to file before lodging the appeal. It does not give the grounds for the appeal, but Hilton’s lawyers must essentially prove that the trial judge abused his discretion by imposing the sentence.
