The LawFuel Power List has seen three leading lawyers leave the list in recent weeks, with the most recent being the announced retirement of NZ Super Funds CEO Matt Whineray.
Whineray has headed the $60 billion Super Fund since 2018 and is expected to double in size in the next decade. He is no. 7 on the 2022 Power List.
He is to leave the role at the end of 2023.
Also departing through retirement has been leading arbitrator Sir David Williams KC, sitting at no. 25 on the List, and the departure of recent entrant Paul Radich KC, (40) who is now Justice Radich.
