SEATTLE -May 5, 2004- LAWFUEL – Computer Forensics Inc., one of the nation’s leading providers of computer discovery services, is hosting an intensive, 1 1/2-day clinic later this month to help litigators understand the various technical issues, challenges and timing factors involved with digital data discovery.

According to Feldman, the boot camp will not be a product-oriented clinic, but rather will focus on practical concerns, such as: demonstrations of the processes and tools used by computer discovery experts during data collections; how to examine unallocated space for deleted files and find hidden data; the steps involved in backup tape restoration; an evaluation of the time and expense associated with different types of data collection and review; and the threshold questions to ask before undertaking a data discovery task.
Each participant in the program will receive a copy of “Essentials of Electronic Discovery,” a treatise authored by Feldman and published by Glasser Legal Works in 2003, unredacted copies of sample discovery requests, and sample forms for setting up their own data collection and review environment.
