On April 19, 2007, a jury found Nacchio guilty of 19 counts of insider trading. Nacchio was sentenced to prison by a federal judge on July 27, 2007. Thanks to the hard work of federal prosecutors, including Assistant U.S. Attorneys James Hearty and Kevin Traskos, Criminal Appellate Division Attorney Stephan Oestreicher, and Deputy Solicitor General Edwin Kneedler, the defendant will now begin to serve his six year prison sentence.”
