The Top Hourly Pay Rates – But Where Are The Lawyers?

The Bureau of Labor Statistics National Compensation Survey from June 2007 showed that the average earnings were $19.29 in June 2006. Among the five major occupational groups, average hourly earnings ranged from $11.31 for service workers to $31.45 for management, professional and other, related employees. The top-earning professional niches showed considerable range within each category.

But where were the lawyers? Not anywhere to be seen, other than those who teach and those who judge.
