THE WOODLANDS, Texas–LAWFUEL – Law News, Law Jobs Network –Encore Legal Solutions, a leading national provider of litigation support solutions, today announced that it has named Jeff Lawrence as vice president and general manager of the Washington, D.C. region for the company, which includes offices in Washington, Maryland and Virginia.
Encore also announced the appointment of Greg Hudson as general manager of its McLean, Va. office, where he will report directly to Lawrence.
Lawrence and Hudson, both of whom have extensive experience in the litigation support marketplace, join a rapidly growing management team at Encore with deep credentials in the legal services industry. Last month, the company named longtime industry executive Greg Mazares as president and chief executive officer and then tapped highly respected litigation support consultant Greg Spicer as vice president of business development, national accounts.
Lawrence has more than 15 years of marketing and financial experience for a variety of organizations in the Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to joining Encore, he was managing partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Whitmont Legal Technologies, a national provider of litigation support services. He was also director of sales in the Washington office of IKON Office Solutions, where he sold outsourcing solutions to major law firms and corporate law departments, and district sales manager for Federal Express, where he was responsible for overseeing business sales in the Atlantic Region. He earned his bachelor of science degree from Wesley College in Dover, Delaware.
Hudson brings to Encore his roughly 15 years of management experience working in the Washington, D.C. region. Prior to joining Encore, he was director of operations for Capital Legal Solutions, an electronic discovery and content management organization that was ranked as one of the top 20 e-discovery providers nationwide. Previous experience included a stint as customer service manager for Balmar Services, where he managed the legal printing and litigation services team in Washington, and as a legal account executive in the Washington office for Merrill Corp. Hudson earned his bachelor of arts degree from George Mason University.
