Theodore J. Novak is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate practice group and chair

Stephen L. Owen serves as chair of the firm’s Tax practice group and practices in
the firm’s Baltimore and Washington, D.C., offices. He primarily concentrates in

corporate and partnership tax planning, real estate tax planning, and business and

Michael E. Santa Maria is a partner in the firm’s Franchise and Distribution

Charles P. Scheeler, a partner in the firm’s Litigation practice group,

Sharpe formerly served as an assistant United States attorney for the District of

Joseph W. Sheyka is a partner in the firm’s Franchise and Distribution practice

Wilbert H. Sirota, a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Securities practice
group, focuses on transactions involving venture capital, mergers and acquisitions,
and general corporation and tax law. Over his more than 30 years of practice, he has
served as outside general counsel to both public and private companies. Mr. Sirota
has also worked on numerous off-shore transactions involving restructuring of Korean

E. Randolph Tucker, a partner in the firm’s Litigation practice group, focuses on

restructured energy markets, both in New England and nationally, including energy
traders, power marketers, generators, and wholesale gas suppliers. As a real estate
litigator, he represents owners, lenders, and CMBS pools in litigation, zoning

Earl S. Wellschlager, a partner in the firm’s Corporate and Securities practice

John W. Whitaker, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate practice group, focuses in
the areas of sale, acquisition, and development of real property, including

His clients include domestic and foreign developers of major downtown Los Angeles

Eric B. Wulff, a partner in the firm’s Franchise and Distribution practice group,
