$12 Million Class Action Lawsuit Over Canadian Air Crash

A $12 million class actin  has been filed over the plane crash at Halifax airport, filed by injury and insurance law firm MacGillivray.

The claim alleges passengers had suffered physical and psychological injuries as a result of the accident, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, insomnia and others that arose from the crash that occurred on March 29..

The statement of claim from MacGillivray Injury and Insurance Law names Air Canada, Nav Canada, the Halifax International Airport Authority and an unnamed captain and first officer as defendants.

“These injuries and impairments have been accompanied by pain, suffering, and a loss of enjoyment of life,” says the document filed with the Nova Scotia Supreme Court
