Mayer Brown Strengthens German M&A Capability

 

Frankfurt, 18 June 2015 –Mayer Brown announced today that Klaus W. Riehmer will join the firm as partner and leader of the Corporate & Securities practice in the firm’s Frankfurt and Düsseldorf offices. Mr. Riehmer will be based in Frankfurt and join in the course of the summer.

 

Mr. Riehmer comes from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where he was a partner since 2004. He advises on national and cross-border corporate and M&A transactions, including public takeovers and private M&A. Furthermore, he advises on corporate law as well as corporate restructurings. In his legal practice of more than 20 years, Mr. Riehmer has advised clients in a variety of industries, including financial services, automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, telecommunications and IT.
