The University of Otago’s law faculty is grieving the loss of one of its esteemed alumni, who tragically lost his life in what appears to be a hit-and-run incident in Sydney. Mitch East, 28 was a former Meredith Connell solicitor, who had also worked with the Royal Commission of Inquiry into the Christchurch terror attack.
