LAWFUEL – The NZ Legal Jobs & Newswire – DLA Phillips Fox has become the first law firm in New Zealand to receive the prestigious quality assurance standard, LAW9000.
The firm recently passed its ISO-QA Triennial Recertification audit, with the auditor upgrading the certificate to LAW9000, an Australian legal practice management benchmark built on the ISO9001 international standard and including some very specific requirements for legal practices.
DLA Phillips Fox’s Chairman, Wellington-based John Strahl, said receiving LAW9000 certification was ground breaking. ‘DLA Phillips Fox is the first firm in New Zealand and the first trans-Tasman firm to receive LAW9000 Certification. All DLA Phillips Fox offices in Australia and New Zealand are now accredited to LAW9000.’
Mr. Strahl said that implementing LAW9000 was not something to undertake lightly and reflected DLA Phillips Fox’s strong commitment to quality in every aspect of its operations.
