Simeon Spencer, founding partner of Spencer Lufia LLP joins forces with Helen Wyatt, former Employment Partner at Goodman Derrick to form Spencer Wyatt LLP http://www.spencer-wyatt.com, a boutique international employment firm providing specialist legal services to technology, media and related industries.
Spencer Wyatt LLP commences operations at new premises based in Clerkenwell, the heart of London’s burgeoning media and technology industries.
Simeon founded Spencer Lufia LLP in December 2010 after almost 20 years in big international firms. He was previously a Partner and Head of Europe at Morgan Lewis & Bockius and before that was Counsel at Morrison & Foerster. His practice is focussed on the technology and media sectors across the Atlantic and in Europe.
Simeon has amassed a wealth of commercial experience and advises and supports businesses from strategic planning of large restructuring programmes to implementing all aspects of workforce change and reorganisation domestically, across Europe and internationally.
He says, “Spencer Wyatt brings Helen and me together in a partnership that will achieve so much. We are set fair to create a leading boutique employment practice building on the success of Spencer Lufia over the last two years. With our new offices, our new web site launching today and Helen on board, I couldn’t be more delighted.”
Helen joined Spencer Wyatt LLP as an equity partner in May 2013. Prior to that she spent 13 years at Goodman Derrick LLP, becoming a Partner and Head of the Employment Department in 2005. At Goodman Derrick, Helen specialised in working with businesses in the recruitment industry, a forte she continues at Spencer Wyatt.
Wyatt comments, “This partnership is everything I have worked towards for many years. Building a firm of the highest quality with people I respect and admire is the best way to continue my practice in law. Our plans for Spencer Wyatt are creative, innovative and dynamic just like our client base.”
