NEW YORK (February 24, 2010) – ALM Events, producer of the LegalTech New York conference, the world’s largest and most prestigious legal technology conference and trade show, today reported that attendance and registration revenues rose by 3 percent this year. ALM reported that sponsorship revenues and new product announcements also increased at the event, which took place February 1-3. The 2010 conference offered more than 60 educational sessions for attendees on topics ranging from electronic discovery and knowledge management to emerging technologies.
“We’re extremely satisfied with this year’s results, particularly at a time when many other events face declining attendance and revenues,” said Henry Dicker, vice president, executive director, LegalTech. “The turnout for this year’s keynotes and many other sessions were at record highs, and we’re pleased that the industry’s largest information providers, including LexisNexis, Thomson Reuters and others, selected LegalTech as a launch platform for their major new product announcements.”
“Our new partnership with ARMA International also exceeded our expectations in broadening attendance at sessions on recordkeeping and records management, and in adding CRM certification to our many CLE-eligible offerings,” added Dicker.
LegalTech West Coast 2010 will take place June 23-24 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. LegalTech West Coast 2009 attracted 3000 attendees and featured more than 100 exhibiting companies. For a conference agenda, exhibitor list and other details, visit www.legaltechshow.com.
