Richard has significant experience advising clients on capital markets transactions including initial public offerings and secondary offerings, as well as compliance-related matters. Richard joined Freshfields in 2007. He served on secondment to Goldman Sachs in 2008 and again in 2009.
Richard studied Law and Commerce at the University of New South Wales and qualified in New South Wales, Australia, in 2001. He earned a postgraduate Certificate of Laws from the University of Hong Kong and qualified in Hong Kong in 2005. He is a native Mandarin speaker and speaks fluent English.
