Frankfurt, 29 April 2007 – LAWFUEL- The Law Newswire – Baker & McKenzie has advised Air Liquide S.A., Paris, a producer and supplier of industrial and medical gases and related services, on the acquisition of Lurgi AG, Frankfurt. Air Liquide acquired all shares of Lurgi AG from GEA Group AG for EUR 550 million.
Lurgi, a subsidiary of GEA Group, is a technology company operating in the field of process engineering and plant contracting. The sale took place in the course of a bidding process during which GEA Group disposed of all activities in the field of plant engineering.
