Baltimore, MD – May 24, 2011 The law firm Ober|Kaler announced today that S. Craig Holden, the firm’s President and Chief Operating Officer and co-chair of its Health Law practice, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA).
A nationally recognized health lawyer whose career spans over thirty years, Mr. Holden represents clients in all areas of the health care industry, with particular emphasis on advising on Medicare and Medicaid fraud and abuse issues, pharmaceutical pricing issues, Medicare and other third-party reimbursement issues and general compliance matters. He has been ranked in Expert Guides to the Leading Lawyers – Best of the Best USA, The Best Lawyers in America, Maryland Super Lawyers and Chambers USA.
Mr. Holden’s board appointment will become effective in June 2011. He previously served as co-chair of the AHLA’s Fraud and Compliance Forum, a national conference on health care fraud and abuse and compliance issues, from 2005-2010.
