(Roseland, NJ) October 16, 2012 – Nicholas San Filippo IV, Member of the Firm at Lowenstein Sandler and Co-Chair of its Corporate/Securities group, has been named to the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce. Mr. San Filippo’s three-year term began October 4, 2012.
The Board of Directors guides the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, which has more than 1,200 member companies and associations representing 500,000 employees and billions of dollars in annual revenue.
A corporate attorney with more than 17 years of experience, Mr. San Filippo focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and complex business transactions. He regularly serves as outside general counsel to his clients ─ acting as both business counselor and legal counselor to business owners and senior officers of companies in a variety of sectors, including the chemicals, manufacturing, food, distribution, insurance, automobile, professional services and plastics industries.
Mr. San Filippo’s work in M&A law has earned him recognition in Super Lawyers (2010-2012), which also listed him as a mergers and acquisitions “Rising Star” (2006-2009). He was also named one of the legal profession’s “40 Under 40” rising stars by New Jersey Law Journal (2008).
