(NEW YORK, August 7, 2006)- LAWFUEL – Legal News Network -Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP announced today that Paul A. Gajer has been named chair of its Corporate Practice Group. Gajer, who has been with Sonnenschein since 2002, succeeds Michael Froy who will return to his practice full-time.

Gajer represents a number of private equity, buy-out and venture capital funds in all aspects of their business. His work focuses on structuring investment, buy-out and disposition transactions, and the related senior and mezzanine financing aspects of such transactions, as well as fund formation. Gajer has practiced corporate and securities law for more than 25 years. During that time, he has represented a variety of cable television, cellular telephone and technology clients in merger, acquisition, financing and reorganization transactions.

Gajer received a J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
