New York, NY – July 17, 2006 – LAWFUEL – The international law firm of Chadbourne & Parke LLP today announced that Charez Golvala has joined the Corporate practice as a partner in the London office of Chadbourne & Parke, its affiliated multinational partnership. Mr. Golvala was previously a senior corporate solicitor with Vinson & Elkins LLP in London.

Mr. Golvala, 40, has been with the business and international department of Vinson & Elkins since 2000 where he advised on a wide variety of transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, project development and corporate finance across many sectors, including the oil and gas industry. Prior to 2000, he was with the corporate department and energy practice group of Ashurst for seven years.

Transactions that Mr. Golvala has led include:

· Advising Endeavour Energy Corporation in connection with the acquisition of Talisman Expro Limited for $414 million.

· Assisting BG Group on the completion of the Fourth Train of the Atlantic LNG facilities in Trinidad and drafting a gas transportation agreement for the Cross Island Pipeline.

· Acting for Duke Energy and Ramco Energy on negotiating and drafting the arrangements for the development and project financing of the Seven Heads gas field in the Celtic Sea.

· Acting for Marubeni in its acquisition of Energy North Sea, a private equity backed company owning a portfolio of UKCS assets.
