This Addition Enhances the Firm’s Traditional Strength in Trusts & Estates Law

AKRON, Ohio, Dec. 27 LAWFUEL – Law Firm News, Law Jobs — Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs,
LLP is very pleased to announce that the law firm of Kaufmann & Kaufmann
has joined the firm’s Akron office. This addition brings three new
attorneys to the firm, enhancing the services of its Trusts & Estates
Practice Group.

The new attorneys are Philip S. Kaufmann, Loma L. Swett, and Steven P. Mutersbaugh, all with Kaufmann & Kaufmann of Akron. In addition, the group will be strengthened with the support of two paralegals, a law clerk, and
an administrative assistant, all of whom will be joining the BDB team from Kaufmann & Kaufmann. The transition will take place on January 1, 2007.

“We are very pleased to welcome these outstanding attorneys to
Buckingham Akron,” said Nicholas T. George, president and chief executive
officer of the law firm. “They have a well-earned reputation for excellence in the practice of law, and they have shown the same dedication to the
interests of clients that has always characterized our firm. Their special
expertise in disabled and elderly law will be a valued enhancement to the
services provided by our Trusts & Estates Practice Group.”

“Joining Buckingham will enable us to provide a wide range of services
to clients,” said Philip S. Kaufmann. “We look forward to collaborating
with the firm’s fine attorneys, especially when the client’s legal needs
reach beyond trusts and estates into other areas of the law.”
Bringing Philip Kaufmann and his team into the firm has enabled
Buckingham to further deepen its trusts and estates services, building on
the addition of the Bonasera group to the Columbus office in 2005. With its traditional strength in this area of the law, Buckingham is now the
preeminent trusts and estates firm in the state of Ohio.

Patrick J. Keating, Managing Partner of Buckingham Akron, said, “Over
the years, Kaufmann & Kaufmann has earned a place of great respect among
the law firms in our region. We are honored to have them bring their skills and dedication to the Akron office of Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs.”
