Tuesday 24 April 2007 LAWFUEL – Law Newswire – Mr Brendan Birch Moore, of Hobart, Tasmania, was today found guilty in the Hobart Magistrates Court following an investigation by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
The Court found that Mr Moore gave false and misleading answers while being questioned under oath during an examination before ASIC in September 2005. Mr Moore was convicted and placed on a recognisance of $5,000 to be of good behaviour for a period of two years. The Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions prosecuted the matter.
